Qualified Maintenance Electrician (Residential & Commercial)
Gaslec Safety is looking for a Qualified Electrical Maintenance Electrician to join our growing Melbourne team. This role suits a reliable electrician who enjoys maintenance, fault finding, compliance inspections and rectification work across residential, rental and commercial properties.
About The Role
You will work both independently and alongside other electricians and plumbers carrying out a broad range of electrical maintenance and safety-related works, including:
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Switchboard upgrades and repairs
- Power point, lighting, and circuit installations and repairs
- Electrical and smoke alarm safety compliance inspections and rectification works
- RCD testing and verification
- Thermal imaging inspections
- Emergency electrical call-outs
- General residential electrical maintenance
- Commercial electrical maintenance and service work
- Preventative maintenance and safety upgrades
- Customer liaison
About You
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Australian citizenship
