Gaslec was founded in 2020 to solve a common problem in property compliance and maintenance: too many trades, checks and reports sitting with different providers.
From the beginning, the goal was to build a team people could rely on, one that communicated clearly, took responsibility and understood that a job is not finished until the client knows what was done, what was found and what happens next.
Today, Gaslec has grown into a permanent office and field team built around people who know the standards, understand the systems and take pride in representing the same name at each property. Trust is built through consistency, clear records, practical communication and a team that understands the pressure behind managed property work.

The People Behind Gaslec
Gaslec is led by Daniel Iliopoulos and Sole Niazmand, two operators who first met in high school before building separate careers across electrical, gas and plumbing.
Sole oversees Operations, while Daniel leads Staff and Culture. Together, they shape the strategic direction of the business, ensuring Gaslec continues to grow while maintaining the high standards, strong culture and client experience the company is known for.
They have built a permanent team of 45+ tradespeople, technicians, operations leads and office staff working across Melbourne properties under one name, one team and one set of standards.
The team is the business. Every person who wears the Gaslec uniform is employed by us, not subcontracted, and that decision shapes how we hire, train, communicate and take responsibility for the work. Our technicians are supported, our apprentices are invested in, and our office team treats every client relationship like it matters, because it does.
That culture is what clients feel in the details. The same team showing up. Records where they should be. Work completed with the next inspection, repair or follow-up in mind. Pride in the tidy job, the closed loop, the call returned and the certificate uploaded.
